Tufts in Talloires

Scholars on the Mountain                        MacJannet Hall

Since 1979, The Tufts University European Center has been housed in the renovated 11th century Priory donated by Donald and Charlotte MacJannet on the shores of Lake Annecy in Talloires, France.  Extensive, multi-year renovations of the magnificent building have allowed the facility to be used to host annual undergraduate summer studies programs, prominent international conferences, lectures, concerts and cultural events.

The Tufts European Center has become a very important destination and meeting point for the exchange of ideas and culture between students, faculty, local residents, and world leaders alike.
